Assured Quality Homecare (ASQ) in Norwich, Connecticut offers a Paid Personal Care Aide (PCA) Training program with employment opportunities after completion. No prior caregiving experience is required, and selected applicants receive paid training through Empower Training Academy at our Norwich corporate office.

The program includes hands-on PCA training, instruction, and eligibility for client assignments after completing requirements, with a focus on care for older adults at home.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and daily activities.
• Support safe walking, mobility, transfers and exercises.
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Provide medication reminders and companionship.
• Complete light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.
• Observe and report changes in client’s condition.

No professional caregiving experience is required. Selected applicants will receive paid training through Empower Training Academy at our Norwich corporate office.

Attendance Is Required

This is a professional training and employment opportunity. Attendance at every class is mandatory. Participants must arrive on time, remain engaged, complete all program requirements, and be prepared to begin working after graduation.
