Job summary

Touching Hearts at Home - Central Kansas is seeking in-home caregivers to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in Wichita and nearby towns. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help with meals and light housekeeping while following each client’s care plan.

Training is available for new caregivers. We offer flexible daytime, afternoon, and overnight shifts, with full-time and part-time openings and a weekend-per-month requirement on some schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Compassion, patience, and dependability.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Recent TB test and wellness exam (we provide these if needed).

Join Our Team as an In-Home Caregiver in Wichita and Surrounding Areas

At Touching Hearts, we believe in making a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities in Wichita, Andover, Haysville, Park City, Valley Center, Derby, and nearby towns. We're hiring caregivers to provide non-medical care that helps clients stay independent at home. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right individuals.

What You Will Do

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping
• Help with mobility and transfers
• Run errands and provide transportation when needed
• Follow each client's care plan and report changes in condition to the office

Schedule

We offer flexible hours built around your availability, with daytime, afternoon, and overnight shifts available. Full-time and part-time openings are available, and one weekend a month is required.

What You Need
