Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking in-home caregivers to support clients in Bend, Redmond, La Pine and surrounding areas. You will provide companionship and daily living support with flexible scheduling and weekly pay.

Training and ongoing support are provided, with mileage reimbursement for travel between clients. We value reliable, empathetic caregivers who can pass background checks and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Reliable vehicle and auto insurance with your name listed as driver.

Responsibilities

• Drive clients to store or appointments and assist with errands and transportation as needed.
• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal care.
• Perform household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and dishes.
• Prepare and serve meals for clients.
• Provide companionship and engage in daily activities and hobbies.
• Use apps for clocking in/out, email and texting as required.
• Monitor client condition and report changes to supervisor.

Our Bend branch services Bend, Redmond, La Pine, Sisters, Sunriver, Prineville, and nearby surrounding areas! We will find a client close to the location in which you'd like to work!

Pay $21-$23.50 per hour

Current scheduling needs:

Currently hiring for a male client who needs weekends 3p-5p or 4p-7p.

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
• Reliable vehicle
• Auto insurance with your name listed on the policy as a driver

What will you do as an In Home Caregiver?

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments (we offer mileage reimbursement!)
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Tech-savvy caregivers (app clock in/ clock out, email, and texting required)
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• If you have not previously completed the Oregon state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!
