Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Washington state is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients with daily living activities. You can choose shifts that fit your schedule, with potential for part-time or full-time hours and mileage considerations.

You will be trained on-site and receive weekly pay, with benefits like paid orientation and continuing education, and opportunities for advancement. A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs and up to 50 lbs.
• Must own a smartphone and use a mobile app.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle.
• State-required caregiver/HCA training as needed.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and household tasks.
• Cook and/or serve meals and help with grooming.
• Provide companionship and engage in daily activities.
• Transport clients to store or appointments.
• Monitor and report on clients' condition.
• Learn and use Hoyer lifts and gait belts as needed.

Pay Range

$18.25 to $21.75

• paid training and milage reimbursement

Current Client Needs

• Every day of the week between 8am-7pm. The more availability you have, the more shifts available to you.

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and grooming. (Personal Care)
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• comfortable or willing to learn Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Plus

• Caregiver experience preferred, but paid training is available
• REQUIRED: must be able to transport clients in reliable vehicle
• Available for day, short shifts between 8am-6pm
• Weekend Availability a plus
• Memory care experience a plus
• Part time 20-30 hrs a week *can lead to full time

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.

• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle required
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules
