Job summary

Healinghandspsa is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to prepare you for essential personal care in patients' homes.

You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, light housekeeping and meal prep, follow care plans, observe changes, document care activities, and support patients and families with a caring, professional approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting with patient mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Support patients with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.
• Observe and report changes in the patient's condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare team.
• Follow care plans provided by healthcare professionals and adhere to established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and report documentation as required.
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
