Job summary

Healinghandspsa is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to work in patients' homes. No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training.

HHAs work under supervision to deliver personal care and support, helping clients maintain independence and comfort in their daily lives. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, and reporting changes to the supervising nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting with patient mobility.
• Preferred CNA/HHA certification, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Support patients with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.
• Observe and report changes in the patient's condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare team.
• Follow care plans provided by healthcare professionals and adhere to established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and report documentation as required.
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
