Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a caregiver or equivalent.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients, families and team.
• Reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Complete orientation and willingness to annual training.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos.
• Ability to document clear care notes after visits.
• Ability to recognize when to escalate to supervisor.

Aufgaben

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Ensure client safety by supervising the home environment.
• Meal planning, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and related tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Offer respite care for families per care plans.
• Run errands, manage small purchases per care plan.
• Support diet plans under physician guidance.
• Escort clients to appointments and activities per plan.
• Assist with writing or researching information for clients.
• Contribute to care team discussions and plans.
• Follow policies, supervise resources, and report concerns.
• Maintain records of daily activities and service hours.
• Attend orientation, trainings, and staff meetings.
• Build cooperative working relationships and problem-solve.
• Communicate with Care Coordinator/Supervisor and coworkers.
• Observe and report changes in clients or environment.
