Interim HealthCare of Columbia is hiring dedicated Caregivers and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide compassionate, personalized care to seniors and individuals who need assistance in their homes.

Qualifikationen

• CPR certification required or ability to obtain before starting client assignments.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to client assignments.
• Ability to follow care plans, agency policies, and safety procedures.
• Ability to complete orientation, training, and background screening.

Aufgaben

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene as permitted by assignment.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with walking, mobility, and safe transfers within training.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating and hydration.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Provide medication reminders when allowed by care plan; no medication administration.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities when authorized.
• Support clients with dementia, disabilities, or age-related challenges.
• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to the office.
• Follow care plans and maintain timely documentation.
• Complete required EVV for applicable assignments.
