Happy to Help Caregiving is seeking an on-call caregiver to support clients in Fairmont and surrounding counties. This onsite, client-home role requires readiness during standby hours and quick response to open shifts, with 8:00 AM start when needed.

The position offers 25 guaranteed hours weekly within a standard schedule and additional hours paid at the regular rate. Mileage reimbursement is available; weekly pay is provided, with potential weekend shifts.

Happy to Help Caregiving provides compassionate, non-medical in-home care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. We support families through companionship, personal care, respite care, and veteran-focused services, always with an emphasis on dignity, respect, and dependable support.

About the role

Happy to Help Caregiving is hiring a dependable on-call caregiver to support clients in Fairmont and throughout Marion and Harrison Counties. This is an onsite, client-home role for someone who can remain ready during scheduled standby hours and respond quickly when a client shift opens.

Schedule and compensation

• Monday through Friday, with core availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• 25 guaranteed hours per week for the 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM standby block.
• Additional hours are paid at the standard hourly rate for client care after 1:00 PM or when a shift extends beyond 5:00 PM.
• Weekly pay every Friday.
• Optional weekend shifts may be available.

Service area and response expectations

• Serve client homes in Fairmont and communities across Marion and Harrison Counties.
• Respond to dispatch notifications within five minutes.
• Leave for an assignment within 15 minutes.
• Be ready to arrive at the first assigned client home at 8:00 AM when needed.
• Keep your phone charged and audible, your vehicle reliable and fueled, and caregiving supplies ready.
• Local travel is required; mileage reimbursement is available according to company policy.
