Senior Helpers is urgently hiring caregivers to provide compassionate assistance to seniors and individuals in need. You will help with daily living activities, offer companionship, and ensure safety and well‑being across client homes in the Oakmont area.

Shifts include morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight options with a supportive team and 24/7 office backup. If you value meaningful one‑on‑one care, this role offers flexible scheduling and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of professional or personal experience in home care or related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Negative TB test results required (2‑Step TB or Quantiferon).
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, or nursing support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, toileting, bathing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events.
• Monitor clients' well‑being and report concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.

We have clients throughout Arnold, New Kensington, Oakmont, Lower Burrell, Cheswick, Apollo, Pittsburgh, Saltsburg, Freeport, Sarver, Kittanning, Ford City, and Creekside. Hours are available from Monday to Sunday for morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times
