Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide/Personal Care Assistant to support seniors in the Avon, OH area. You’ll provide daily living assistance, monitor health, and help with mobility, meals, and hygiene. The role emphasizes dignity, respect, and independence for clients at home.

Competitive pay ($15–$18/hour), flexible schedules, and benefits are offered. Prior caregiving experience is valued, and a valid driver's license with insured vehicle is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree and/or a GED certificate.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
• Current CPR Certificate is recommended.
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Have a valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation.

Responsibilities

• Reinforcement of dressings (non-sterile).
• Assisting with the use of devices for aid in daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair or lift device).
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Measuring and preparing special diets.
• Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure).
• Meal prep and light house keeping.
• Activities of daily living.
