Open Arms Solutions is seeking caring, trustworthy, and motivated caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors throughout Northfield, IL and surrounding communities. As an In-Home Caregiver, you'll tailor non-medical assistance to each client's needs, helping maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and independence at home.

Typical duties include personal care, mobility support, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication prompts, and accompanying clients to appointments.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the past 2 years.
• Dependable transportation and the ability to travel between client homes.
• Current Driver’s License or State ID.
• Smartphone for work-related communication and documentation.
• Must be 18+ and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a background screening.
• Dependable, respectful, and compassionate approach to client care.

Aufgaben

• Helping clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and restroom needs
• Supporting safe movement and transfers around the home
• Offering companionship and conversation
• Preparing meals and encouraging proper fluid intake
• Assisting with household chores, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
• Providing medication prompts and reminders
• Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping trips, and other activities
• Keeping the care team informed of changes in the client’s condition or daily routine
