Qualifications

• Experience in home health care, assisted living, or long‑term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
• Strong skills in patient observation, monitoring, and documenting care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide patient care including vital signs monitoring and medication administration per care plans.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment with light housekeeping tasks.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote well‑being.
• Observe and report changes in client conditions to healthcare professionals.
• Support memory care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe transfers when necessary.

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with seniors and individuals with disabilities, and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as per care plans.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Observe and report changes in client conditions or behaviors to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality.
