Job summary

HOME CARE SNE LLC is seeking an In Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, in-home support for clients. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, and ensure safety and comfort in the home setting.

Ideal candidates have caregiving experience, particularly with seniors or disabled individuals, and strong interpersonal skills. The role is part-time with flexible scheduling and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings preferred.
• First aid and CPR certification desirable.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism a plus.
• Strong skills in patient observation, monitoring, and documenting care.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility.
• Familiarity with care plans and medication administration protocols beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• CNA, PCA, or HHA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as per care plans.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Observe and report changes in client conditions or behaviors to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia.
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality.
