Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare is seeking an in-home caregiver to provide attentive, in-home support to clients in McHenry and Kane counties, IL. The role includes personal care, companionship, and daily living activities to enhance independence.

We offer hourly and live-in positions with competitive pay, room and board, and benefits. The ideal candidate has 1 year of caregiving experience, strong communication, reliability, and a compassionate approach to elder care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in caregiving, especially with elderly clients, is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship; support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.

Position Overview
