Job summary

Visiting Angels of Claremont, NH is seeking a Part Time Home Care Aide to support clients in the Upper Connecticut River Valley with flexible daytime hours.

You’ll assist with personal care, light exercise, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, and provide friendly companionship while following care plans. Excellent communication and reliability are essential, with training provided and opportunities to grow in dementia/alzheimer’s care.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Good time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light physical activity or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Report health changes or incidents to supervisor.
