Responsibilities

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions to help individuals remain in their homes.

Job Duties include:

• Reporting observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager.
• Notifying the Agency Director immediately of incidents or accidents.
• Driving safely, complying with traffic regulations, and wearing a seat belt during travel.
• Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Helping with household tasks essential to personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired: Six months in home care preferred.

• Ability to work in any home situation regardless of patient demographics.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously with diverse individuals and maintain confidentiality.
