Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking an in-home caregiver to support clients in the Buffalo area. You will assist with personal care, meals, documentation, and light housekeeping, upholding confidentiality and safety.

Starting wages are $18/hour for caregivers and $20–$21/hour for CNAs. After 5 months of employment, caregivers may enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase to $20/hour upon certification. Free CNA classes may be available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal cares.
• Must have had driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits.
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and in compliance.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.
