Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring an in-home caregiver in the Buffalo area. The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20-$21/hour for CNAs.

After 5 months of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase to $20/hour upon certification. Requirements include high school diploma or GED, at least 21, excellent communication, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal cares.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtimes and monitor eating habits.
• Ensure required documentation is complete and in compliance.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.
