Job summary

Compassionate Friends Homecare LLC is seeking a dedicated Part Time Caregiver in Lorain, OH to support veterans and other clients with daily living activities in their homes. You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, and companionship, while adhering to care plans and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, documentation, and coordinating with healthcare teams. Experience in caregiving and valid CPR/First Aid credentials are preferred; evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified caregiver training program or equivalent experience in personal care.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with state and federal caregiving regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living to maintain hygiene and comfort.
• Provide medication reminders and support adherence to treatment plans.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
• Monitor clients and report changes to supervisors or healthcare providers.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs for appointments.
• Follow care plans while respecting confidentiality.
