Job summary

SRX Home Care, LLC is seeking an In-Home Senior Caregiver to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in Elkader, IA. You will provide companionship, assist with personal care, prepare meals, and support daily activities for clients.

Starting pay is $16-$18 per hour with flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment, offering an opportunity to make a positive impact in your community.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable caregiver with excellent communication.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Accompany clients to appointments or run errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
