Job summary

Assisting Hands of Polk County is hiring caregivers to help seniors stay safely in their own homes across Polk, Highlands and Hillsborough Counties. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, prepare meals, and assist with light housekeeping, with flexible shifts from 1 to 16 hours and mileage reimbursement for client errands.

Requirements include CPR/BLS with hands-on skills evaluation, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and ability to pass Florida Care Provider Background

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification with hands-on skills evaluation.
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass Florida Care Provider Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide companionship and support.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Run errands or transport clients when needed.
