Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking an experienced In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized non-medical care to a client in the Coon Rapids area. The role emphasizes safety, comfort, and independence at home, with a consistent schedule and opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

No CNA/HHA certification required, but prior caregiving experience is strongly preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel between clients are important.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, DSP, or similar role.
• Experience providing dementia care.
• Experience with bed-bound personal care.
• Experience with mechanical lifts, such as Hoyer or similar equipment, strongly preferred.
• Comfortable providing care in a home with pets.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Compassionate, patient, and client-focused.
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene.
• Providing bed-bound personal care.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Using mechanical lifts such as Hoyer lifts.
• Preparing meals and supporting proper nutrition.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Providing transportation and assistance with errands.
• Performing light housekeeping and organization.
• Providing companionship and end-of-life support.
• Supporting clients with dementia and memory-related needs.
