Job summary

Executive Home Care of North County Coastal in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home support, including personal care, companionship, and medication reminders. You will work closely with clients to maintain independence and dignity in daily living.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in caregiving or similar role preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Caring, reliable and empathetic by nature.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and deliver person-centered support.

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance: bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Medication reminders: help clients stay on track with prescribed medication routines.
• Meal preparation and nutrition: plan and prepare meals while supporting proper nutrition and hydration.
• Companionship: provide emotional support, conversation, and accompany clients to appointments or social activities.
• Health monitoring: observe and document changes in client condition and communicate with the care team.
