Job summary

Executive Home Care of San Diego is hiring in-home caregivers to support clients across the Greater San Diego area. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation, while building trust with clients and their families.

We value compassion, reliability, and clear communication. This is an in-person position with flexible scheduling, paid orientation and training, and opportunities to grow your skills in neurodegenerative care and memory support.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, especially memory care
• Patience, reliability, and genuine compassion
• Strong communication with clients, families, and team
• Ability to follow and adapt to individualized care plans
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check and provide a current TB test

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Supporting mobility, transfers, and safe redirection for memory care clients
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping, errands, grocery runs, and prescription pick-ups
• Transportation to appointments and outings
• Monitoring client wellbeing and communicating changes to the care team
• Being a consistent, calming presence clients and families can count on
