Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate, independent individuals to join our team as a PCA, HHA, CNA or those with no prior experience. We provide personalized in-home care, focusing on client well-being and safety. You will assist with everyday tasks, monitor health, and document changes for supervision.

The role emphasizes delivering consistent, respectful care in clients' homes, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure client safety
• Report significant changes in the client’s condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required
• Monitor and record client temperature
• Assist client’s with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
