Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team as PCA/HHA/CNA. You will provide in-home personal care, medication reminders, and assistance with daily activities. This role requires reliable transportation and ability to document care provided. Flexible schedule and competitive weekly pay offered.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and can follow written instructions while maintaining client safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure client safety
• Report significant changes in the client’s condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required
• Monitor and record client temperature
• Assist client’s with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
