Job summary

Right at Home South Central Michigan is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support adults in their homes in Jackson, MI. You will perform personal care, assist with daily activities, and provide companionship while helping clients maintain independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities that assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home
• Perform housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and doing laundry
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments
• Provide companionship activities, such as reading, music, and puzzles
