Job summary
Altra Homecare Group is hiring Homecare Caregivers in Frankfort, IN to provide in-home personal care and companionship. Duties include feeding, medication reminders, safety checks, document care and communicate changes to supervisors.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient laundry when necessary.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Ensure patient safety.
- Report significant changes in the patient's condition to supervisor.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
- Monitor and record patient temperature.
- Assist patients with ambulation.
- Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
- Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
- Offer bathing assistance.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
