Talem Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Provider to deliver unskilled personal care and light household services in clients' homes. The role emphasizes companionship and keeping spaces clean, safe, and organized.

Responsibilities include helping with daily tasks, transportation, and documentation, supporting clients to remain independent at home. Ideal candidates have reliable transportation, complete a 20-hour training, and prior home care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
• Ability to maintain safety and adhere to home care best practices.
• Completion of the required 20-hour training program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Observes and maintains client home environment to ensure safety and security.
• Assists with household chores including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Assists with activities outside the home such as shopping and appointments.
• Provides companionship and social engagement for clients.
• Assists with personal hygiene tasks when not requiring specialized care.
• Maintains timely service records of home visits.
• Attends client care conferences and staff meetings.
