Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare, a CHAP-certified company established in 2010, seeks a Home Care Aide to provide in-home support to clients in Genoa, IL. This full-time, live-in role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to assist with daily activities to improve quality of life and independence.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed. CNA certification is preferred and prior caregiving experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in caregiving, especially with elderly clients, is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship.
• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.
