Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare, a CHAP-certified company serving elders in DuPage County, IL, is seeking compassionate in‑home caregivers for live‑in or hourly roles to support independence and comfort.

You will assist with personal care, hygiene, meal prep and companionship, perform light housekeeping and transportation, and report changes to the healthcare team. CNA certification is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in caregiving with elderly clients is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable, compassionate, dedicated to client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship. Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.
