Job summary

Assisting Hands Kennesaw is seeking compassionate caregivers to help clients stay in their homes in Cobb County. You’ll provide reliable, friendly daily support in familiar neighborhoods and become a trusted familiar presence for clients and families.

Shifts are primarily weekday daytime from 8am to 5pm, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Evening and overnight opportunities may arise for additional hours and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• CNA or PCA background is a plus, but not required — if you have cared for a family member and you show up when you say you will, we want to talk to you

Responsibilities

• Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and handle light housekeeping
• Give medication reminders
• Watch for fall risks and changes in how someone is doing
• Be a steady, familiar presence — you are the main person they see most of the day
