Job summary

Assisting Hands Kennesaw is seeking compassionate caregivers to help local families stay in their homes in Cobb County. You will be a steady, familiar presence while assisting with daily activities and personal care.

You will provide bathing and grooming support, prepare meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. The schedule emphasizes weekday daytime (roughly 8am–5pm) with potential overnight shifts; if you work days elsewhere, overnight hours may fit.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid Georgia driver's license, plus a reliable, insured vehicle
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (must be active when you apply)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• A big plus: experience with bed baths, heavy transfers (helping someone move safely from bed to chair) or dementia care. CNA or PCA background also helps, but isn't required. If you have cared for a family member and you show up when you say you will, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

• Help with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Prepare meals and handle light housekeeping
• Give medication reminders
• Watch for fall risks and changes in how someone is doing
• Be a steady, familiar presence. For a lot of our clients, you are the main person they see all day

Education
