Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to support clients in their own homes, preserving independence and dignity. You’ll assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help with meals and medications.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience with elderly preferred.
• Experience assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Understanding of dementia/Alzheimer’s is a plus.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changes.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior.
