Impact Home Health is seeking a dedicated Non-Medical Attendant Caregiver in Wellington, KS. This in-home role provides compassionate, non-medical support to help clients stay safe, dignified, and as independent as possible.

Expect flexible day shifts, with a full-time urgent hire option and local travel to client homes. Primary duties include personal care, safety assistance, companionship, and documenting visits while upholding HIPAA and agency policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of professional caregiving, direct-care, home health, personal care, or closely related experience
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to helping clients maintain dignity, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and brief changing as authorized in the care plan.
• Assist clients with safe mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using proper body mechanics and approved equipment.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and other approved activities for a safe home environment.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support honoring client dignity, choices, culture, and routines.
• Report accidents, injuries, hazards, or changes in client environment promptly.
