Job summary

A First Name Basis (AFNB) is hiring a Caregiver to provide in-home support for seniors and individuals with disabilities in Bernice and surrounding areas. You will assist with personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• In-home caregiving experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation; assist with feeding as needed.
• Medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in client health and well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and proper use of safety equipment.
• Document care provided according to company standards.
• Travel to patient homes and visits within the service area.
• Complete required in-service training and onboarding.
