Job summary

Assisting Hands - Pasco is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to provide personal care, homemaking and companionship in clients' homes. Join a caring team serving Pasco County and surrounding areas.

Applicants should be 18+, have reliable transport, pass a Level II background check and TB screening. Training is provided to help you become certified and support clients safely at home.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Have reliable form of transportation
• Must be able to work with male and female clients
• Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check
• Proof of a Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening

Responsibilities

• Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults with developmental disabilities in the privacy of their own homes
• Personal Care Assistance (bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene)
• Monitor clients safety within the home/Supervision
• Light Housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, laundry)
• Ambulation and Transferring Assistance
• Transportation - Assist with scheduling a transport to doctor appointments/run errands
• Grocery Shopping / Assisting with online shopping
• Meal Preparation
• Companionship
• Assist with the clients personal goals
• Provide friendly medication reminders
