Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking in-home aides (CNA preferred or experienced caregivers) to provide one-on-one care across Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston Counties in South Carolina. Work part-time with days, evenings, weekends, or overnights. Responsibilities include mobility support, medication reminders, personal care, meals, and light housekeeping.

No CNA license required. We offer in-house training, a family environment, flexible schedules and locations, and shifts from 2 to 12 hours per

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle/transportation.
• Must adhere to plans of care and client schedules.
• One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred.
• Good communication and active listening with clients, families and staff.
• Pass background and drug screening.
• No CNA license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Provide transportation to appointments, shopping or pharmacy.
• Perform light housekeeping for the client.
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion.
