Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking reliable caregivers to support clients in the Portland metro area. This in-home role requires compassion, patience, and the ability to handle daily living activities with dignity.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, paid orientation and training, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing support from a caring team. Must be 18+, pass background checks, and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record; able to transport clients.
• Able to lift 10–50 lb.
• Experience with Hoyer’s, Memory Care or Behavioral care is a plus or willing to train.
• Own a smartphone and use a mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Perform household tasks (cleaning, laundry, dishes).
• Cook/serve meals and assist with grooming or bathing.
• Provide companionship and engage in daily activities.
• Drive clients to store or appointments as needed.
• Monitor and report on clients’ condition.
