Job summary

AmeriCare Plus in Virginia is seeking CNAs, NAs, and PCAs to provide in-home personal care to clients in their own homes. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and companionship.

We offer FT/PT/PRN schedules with weekly pay and opportunities for training, including PCA classes for uncertified applicants. Reliable transportation and VA driver’s license are required to join our compassionate team.

Qualifications

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification (online training provided for PCA)
• Reliable transportation and valid Virginia driver’s license
• SS card & 2 professional references
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
• Support mobility and transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair)
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding
• Provide medication reminders
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
