Job summary

At Home Care of Kentucky is seeking caring individuals to join our in-home care team in Eddyville, KY. You will assist clients with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and dressing, providing respectful companionship in a one-on-one setting.

No experience? We provide training at no cost to you. This role offers flexible scheduling, paid time off, parental leave, and a chance to make a real difference in people’s lives while growing your caregiving skills.

Qualifications

• Assist clients with activities of daily living that they are not fully able to complete on their own, such as ambulation, dressing, personal care, and hygiene.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to learn housekeeping activities, cooking, providing personal care services.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds with the physical capability to perform job-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living that they are not fully able to complete on their own, such as ambulation, dressing, personal care, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with serving and eating when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cannot complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion and report any unusual incidents to the office promptly.
