Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Respect for clients' dignity, privacy, and independence
- Ability to work independently in a client's home
- Reliable transportation to assigned client locations
- Willingness to learn and develop caregiving skills
- Ability to meet Washington State caregiver employment, background screening, and training requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
- Prepare meals and provide nutritional support
- Assist with mobility and fall prevention
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and transportation as needed
- Support clients with dementia, Parkinson's, and other age-related conditions
- Communicate client needs and changes in condition to the care team
