Job summary

Right at Home in Ohio seeks a Homemaker/Companion to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors. Training is provided to handle light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship, with emphasis on safety and client well-being.

You will build trust with clients in your community, work flexible shifts, earn weekly pay, and access benefits such as medical plans and paid training. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Must have completed a written Competency Evaluation.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Assist with homemaking tasks (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry) during shift.
• Provide companionship during walks and activities and build client rapport.
• Assist with light meal preparation and grocery errands as needed.
• Support client safety and comfort and adapt to care needs in the home.
