Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household tasks, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately if incidents or accidents occur.
  • Drive safely, adhere to traffic laws, and wear a seat belt during travel.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, dental care, nail care, skin care, transfers, and toileting assistance.
  • Help with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

  • Six months of home care experience preferred.

  • Flexible hours to meet patient needs.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to various home situations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
