Job summary

AmeriCare Plus in Virginia is seeking compassionate CNAs, NAs, and PCAs to provide in-home personal care for clients in their own homes. Weekend availability and flexible schedules (FT/PT/PRN) are welcomed, with multiple shifts including evenings and overnights.

Training is provided and online PCA courses are available for those new to the field. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, light meals, medication reminders, and companionship while monitoring health status and reporting changes.

Qualifications

• CNA/NA/PCA certifications required or online training provided for PCA
• Reliable transportation and Virginia driver’s license
• SS card and two professional references

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
• Support mobility and transfers (bed to wheelchair)
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding
• Provide medication reminders
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
