Job summary

ComForCare seeks a part-time Caregiver based in Towson/Randallstown, MD, to provide direct in-home support. Duties include assisting with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, and companionship in clients' residences or care communities.

You'll follow care plans, document services, and communicate changes to supervisors. The role requires at least 1 year in home/senior care, with a preferred CNA/home health aide background and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in home care, senior care, or caregiving.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s and dementia care is a plus.
• Ability to provide personal care and activities of daily living.
• Skills in light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and errands.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with empathy and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Support mobility and safe transfers for clients in their homes or care settings.
• Prepare simple meals and provide medication reminders (no administration).
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry; assist with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship, engage in activities, and ensure safety supervision.
• Follow care plans, document services, and report changes to supervisors.
