Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving is seeking an In Home Caregiver for Clemson, SC. This full-time role starts at $17.00 per hour and offers weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and paid orientation and training.

You will help older adults with daily activities, provide personal care, prepare meals, and offer companionship in clients\' homes, following established care plans and documenting daily progress.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (home care or facility-based).
• Must reside in South Carolina.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• First Aid certification required per DHEC; training paid if needed.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor client safety and report changes to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and document daily activities.
