Job summary

Visiting Angels Columbus Ohio is seeking a compassionate In-Home Caregiver to support clients in the Circleville area. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure safety and well-being in clients' own homes as part of a dedicated home care team.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and providing companionship. You will monitor clients’ condition and report changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or related field preferred.
• Compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transferring safely within the home.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition or behavior to the appropriate parties.
• Assist with errands and transportation as needed.
