Visiting Angels Columbus, GA seeks compassionate At Home Caregivers to support seniors in Columbus and nearby areas. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility assistance, and transportation while maintaining the client’s safety and dignity.

Advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care is available to help you grow your caregiving skills within a supportive local team.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others as a true caregiver.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.

• Good time management and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals with client input
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them while shopping
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
